LOOK to LEARN

When you combine rich and powerful media with thinking prompts or tools the result is what Tom March calls “LOOK to LEARN”. A powerful strategy to encourage students to engage in deep thinking.

Simply select appropriate media from the web for your students to view, either as a class, group or individually. Then have them process it by using a tool for visualising thinking (some are listed in the pages to the side of this blog)

For example, view “A Day In Glass”  and try the tool “SEE, THINK,WONDER” . What do you SEE? What did it make you THINK? And what do you still WONDER?
